Why can't I pay by card on Dudle?

Checkout is not built yet. A paid plan starts with a short conversation — you say which plan and how many people, we set up the account and send an invoice, usually within a day. The Free plan needs none of that.

Is there a student discount?

Yes, 20% off Starter and Pro with a confirmed academic email. You open the account with any address and add the academic one afterwards, confirming it with an emailed code; the account is never restricted to a university domain.

What happens when I run out of AI answers?

The AI tools pause until the month turns over. Your library stays, the PDF tools keep working, nothing is deleted and no overage is charged.

Are Dudle's prices VAT inclusive?

Yes. Every price shown is what you pay — VAT is inside the figure rather than added at checkout.

What counts against the allowance

Counts as an AI answer

A question answered from your documents, a summary, a quiz, a flashcard deck, a contract or financial extraction — anything where a model reads your file and writes something back. One request, one answer.

Does not count

Every PDF tool. Merging, splitting, compressing, converting to and from Office, OCR, signing, redacting, watermarking, filling forms. They are free, unmetered, and they stay that way whether or not you ever pay us.

Paying yearly is about 25% less again, so Pro is €26 a month billed annually — and the student discount comes off on top of that.

Questions people actually ask

Why can't I just pay by card?: Because we have not built checkout yet, and we would rather say so than put a button there that fails. Paid plans start with a short conversation: you tell us which plan and how many people, we set up the account and send an invoice. It takes about a day.
What exactly is an AI answer?: One request where a model reads your document and writes something back — a question answered, a summary, a quiz, a deck, an extraction. The PDF tools are not AI and do not count against it.
How does the student discount work?: Open an account with whatever address you like, then add an academic one and confirm it with a code we email you. The 20% comes off Starter and Pro. Your account is never restricted to an academic address — the discount is attached to a verified one.
What happens when I run out of AI answers?: The AI tools stop until the month turns over, and nothing else changes: your library stays, the PDF tools keep working, and your documents are untouched. Nothing is deleted and no overage is charged.
Can I change plan later?: Yes. Moving up takes effect immediately and you pay the difference for the rest of the billing period. Moving down takes effect when the period ends, so you keep what you have already paid for.
Is VAT included?: Yes. Every price here is what you pay — VAT is inside the figure, not added at the end.
We are more than five people.: Group is five seats sharing one pool. Past that, Pro is €35 per person, and if you are a department or a lab, talk to us and we will work out something that fits.
Do you train on my documents?: No. Uploaded files and anything generated from them are deleted from our servers within the hour. We do not keep them, share them, or train models on them.
