This policy explains how Dudle ("we", "us"), operated by Dudle App Labs, uses cookies and similar browser storage. We keep this to a minimum: we use only what's needed to make the service work, and we do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

2. What are cookies and browser storage?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Related technologies — such as localStorage — let a site keep information in your browser between visits. Both can be controlled from your browser settings.

3. What we use

• Essential authentication cookies — set by our authentication provider (Clerk) when you sign in, to keep you logged in and secure your session. The service's account features won't work without these.
• Browser storage (localStorage) — used to remember app and workspace state on your device, such as your preferences and unsaved work. This stays in your browser and is not an advertising identifier.

4. What we do not use

We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no ad pixels). We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.

5. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site data through your browser settings, and you can clear localStorage the same way. Blocking essential authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in and using account features, but the core file tools that don't require an account will still work.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised "Last updated" date.
