Turn a PDF, a document or any topic into a deck of question-and-answer cards.
Every card is one question and one answer, written for active recall — the practice of retrieving a fact rather than re-reading it. Upload a document and the generator reads it and writes the cards; give it a topic instead and it writes them from what the model already knows. You choose how many cards you want, how deep they should go, and you can name a section to concentrate on.
PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint decks, Excel sheets, CSV files and plain text. A research paper, a set of lecture slides, a contract, a textbook chapter, a page of revision notes. Scanned PDFs need OCR first — if a document has no text layer there is nothing for the generator to read, and it will say so rather than inventing cards. There is also a topic mode that needs no file at all: type “the Krebs cycle” or “Roman Britain” and study from that.
Space flips the card, the arrow keys move between cards, and 1 and 2 mark a card wrong or right. Any card you get wrong can be retried on its own at the end. Explain opens a tutor on the card you are looking at — it will take a follow-up question, and it knows what else is in the deck. When you want the cards elsewhere, export them: Anki as a tab-separated file that imports straight into a deck, CSV for a spreadsheet, or a printable PDF.
